I'm 46, mother of two, step-mother of two, grandmother of one. I work at a large software company in the Office of the President. I live in sunny and hot Tucson, Arizona. I believe in activism, community involvement, diversity, protecting our environment, especially our marine environments. I'm analytical and try to reason logically. I'm usually the calm one that people rely upon in a tense situation. I try to raise my children to live without hatred and to contribute to the community around us, to speak out for their beliefs and stand up for themselves. I believe in being active politically and to be informed, but to form my own opinions instead of "drinking the kool-aid". My biggest fault is not having any patience at all with stupidity. I need to learn to be more forgiving of people who are merely ill-informed. My father was a career Air Force man and I am very proud to have grown up as an Air Force brat and proud of his service to our country. I have lived in Texas (Harlingen and Wichita Falls), London, England and Tucson, Arizona. Someday, I hope to move to somewhere different and get out of the desert....when my children are grown and independent.
